"The Tale of Three Pots: An English Moral Story | Animated Moral Stories, Fairy Tales, and English Narratives"

Once upon a time in a peaceful village called Mahadeva, there lived a pot maker named Murari. He was known for crafting pots with care and selling them in the market to support his family. His humble abode had three pots, each with its own unique character.

One day, as the three pots were sitting together in Murari's home, they began conversing.

"Friends, we have been together for a long time. I wish from my heart that we continue to live like this forever," said one of the pots.

"I wish the same, my dear friend," added another. However, the third pot had a different perspective.

"I don't wish to stay here anymore. How long should we endure a life in a poor family like this? I wish someone would take me from here," expressed the third pot.

While the pots were engaged in this conversation, a rich man arrived at Murari's doorstep with a specific request.

"Listen, I want a nice, good pot," demanded the rich man.

Murari, being a humble pot maker, replied, "See, sir, I don't have good pots or bad pots. All the pots are good. You can choose whichever you want. Please don't mind."

The rich man, however, had a peculiar request. "I don't want a new pot; I want an old one."

Perplexed, Murari explained, "Sir, I have all new pots except the three pots that I am already using. Whatever you desire, you can take."

The rich man insisted on an old pot. Eventually, Murari had to present the three pots to the rich man. After examining them, the rich man chose the third pot.

The third pot, feeling a mix of excitement and farewell, said to the other two, "Look, my wish is fulfilled. I am going with this rich man now."

As the rich man paid Murari and took the chosen pot, the remaining pots watched, wondering about their friend's fate.

Days passed, and the chosen pot found a new home with the rich man. However, one day, while the rich man was filling water in the pot, it broke from the top.

"Oh, I thought an old pot would be stronger than a new one, but it's broken. Now it's of no use to me. I should throw it away," the rich man exclaimed.

Disheartened, the broken pot was cast aside. Feeling abandoned and useless, it cried softly, "Oh no, he left me abandoned. I was happy with my friends, but now I have no one to call mine."

However, an old man passing by noticed the broken pot, picked it up, and decided to take it home.

As the old man walked with the broken pot, the pot wondered, "Where might he be taking a broken pot like me?"

The old man brought the pot home, filled it with water regularly, and used it every day. The pot, puzzled, asked, "Sir, I am broken, and I don't look good. Why did you bring me home? You could have bought a new one for yourself."

The old man replied, "I can't afford to buy a new pot. If you are broken, you are still satisfying my needs. That's more important. Moreover, one's appearance matters not as long as they are beneficial to others. Remember that."

Realizing its worth, the broken pot said, "You are absolutely right, sir. I was wrong. I always thought staying with the rich man would increase my value, but the truth is, it doesn't matter where we are. It's important how much we are beneficial to others."

From that day on, the broken pot started living happily, appreciating its new purpose.

After a few days, the old man brought the other two pots home. The third pot felt joyous to see its friends.

"Friends, how come you both are here?" inquired the third pot.

"We got scratches on us, and our owner kept us away from home. This kind old man brought us here," explained one of the pots.

The old man, caring for all three pots, planted two beautiful plants in them and watered them every day.

The third pot addressed its friends, "Friends, you wanted to go with the rich man to be happy. But finally, this poor old man made us realize that we are still beneficial, even when others thought we were useless. Now, I understand that looks are not important, but what we do for others is, be it rich or poor."

Since then, the three pots stuck together happily with the old man, embracing their newfound purpose and understanding the true value of their existence.
